Summary:

Difficult one to judge - you get what you bargain for. It is a long ride with almost 60km to go. Lightly undulating profile, but mostly flat. And then there are the views… Yes, they are repetitive, but boy, are they interesting. You get to cycle amidst the lava fields of this Hawaiian island, which is quite unique. So yes, I gave it a high rating for the views because of its uniqueness, but agree that it can also be considered long and repetitive. Why not judge for yourself?
